Working the Bible Wall

So. I'm walking by the Bible Wall (yes, that's what it's called) and there's a very sweet woman staring at the rack of Bibles and looking a little overwhelmed. Therefore, I walk over with a standard "Findin' everything alright?" She immediately shakes her head and replies, "No." "Well, what can I do to help?"

There's a pause as she looks it over. "I want a green one." "Pardon?" "A forest green one, like this display, but not the Men's Devotional."

hehe. She was real sweet. We fixed her up a very nice green NIV. :P

simple psalm.

"I love you; and I made you; and I love the way I made you."

Take me and hold me; comfort me and tell me I'm yours forever;
Hold me in your strong, strong arms and never let me go.
Because I am my Beloved's, and he is mine;
And he sings over me and holds me fast.

He loved me when I was unlovely, when I longed to see his blood.
Little did I know, his blood would cover me.

Crimson stain rush over me and wash me white as snow;
Dear Savior, you do love me; and you've never let me go.
I'm but a child, a long lost love, and you've overtaken me.
Your nail-scarred hands hushed my long, anguished plea.

Take me and hold me, here in your arms;
My Savior is my King, my God;
By my Beloved's hands were the heavens made;
And by his hand they stay in place.

He who made the stars calls me friend;
He who breathed life into naught calls me child-

He who ransomed me loves me; and he restores my soul.

~~ A la me. 0=) Save the line in quotes, which is a la Ted Dekker, whose book put the thought in my head.
