Alright, so I'm really sorry for neglecting this thing. I've been posting on Speculative Faith and on my Facebook page, and, well, even that's been pushing what I can do. I'm considering moving everything strictly to FB but I haven't made up my mind yet.

With Speculative Faith, it's mostly my meanderings on writing (specifically when it comes to sci-fi/fantasy, supernatural, or anything else on that end of the novel spectrum). I've got a kid-sister series to Observations of a Church Brat titled Observations of a Youngling (yes, the Star Wars nerds will get it).

My FB profile pulls feed from this site and sometimes I remember to link Speculative Faith. I usually get tagged. Anyway. Facebook is where I've put poetry, story 'snippets,' and various, impulsive musings.

So, as you can see, the bulk of my thoughts have been going elsewhere; and I keep forgetting to do anything else.

Ah well.

At the moment I have multiple projects going on, and that may be half my recent frustration. It looks a little like this:

-Story research
-Job research/hunt
-Publishing world research (Hey, I gotta learn sometime)
-Midsummer Dream Project 2011
-Personal reading list (the one with no research attached to it)
-Book reviews
-Personal studies: Spanish, church history, devotional type books
-My Bible reading project that's gotten a bit away from me and therefore has become a multi-year project. Go figure.

And on top of that there's tutoring, editing, misc. chores, and a book begging me to write it. Screaming at me.

But the truth is, I have to knock some of these things off the list first, or they'll never get done. Kaci in "story mode" is a scary state of being.

There's probably a reason my social life is lacking...
